"Love Me Again" is a hit song past English vocalist John Newman. The song was released every bit a digital download in Europe on 17 May 2013, except for the United Kingdom where information technology was released on 30 June 2013 as the pb unmarried from his debut studio anthology, Tribute (2013). In an interview with Digital Spy, Newman was asked if he sensed that the song had something special about it in the studio. He said, "Yeah. The guy I wrote it with (Steve Booker), we turned effectually and had massive grins on our faces thinking, 'At that place'southward something good here'. Only you just never know how good it is, you know?".
Newman was likewise asked if it was hard to write the lyrics about love and interruption-upwardly, he said, "No, it's the but place where I really open to somebody, through my music. I'yard producing [the album] and writing it, it'south good. I similar to keep a concur of everything".[2]
With the chord progression of Gm—Bb—Dm—C, the song is written in the key of G Dorian. The fundamental signature is in D minor. Both are modes of F major, of which either one can exist used equally the tonic notation/chord, because, nevertheless, the F major chord is not present in the song.[3]
Music video [edit]
2 music videos, both with elements of Northern soul dancing, have been released for "Beloved Me Again". One version[4] directed by Vaughan Arnell is based on the classic love story of Romeo and Juliet.[5] The adult female in the video, Juliet, is French actress Margaux Billard, carefully watched over past her brother, Tybalt, played past Joseph Steyne. The Romeo, is British model Tommy-Lee Winkworth. This video ends in a bewilderment as they get run over past a truck and their fate remains unknown till Newman'southward follow-up single "Cheating", which starts with a newspaper article indicating that they had indeed survived the crash, which was a hitting-and-run accident.
Another version features Newman, backed by musicians, singing in a dimly lit room.[6]

In pop civilisation [edit]
"Beloved Me Over again" was featured on the soundtrack of video game FIFA 14,[viii] giving it a cult status amid FIFA fans, likewise as the Federation's #WorldCupAtHome series, which opened FIFA'southward annal during the COVID-xix pandemic. It also appeared in the closing credits of the 2014 science fiction film, Edge of Tomorrow, starring Tom Prowl and Emily Blunt. The song was likewise featured on the American Television series, Suits in the episode, "Buried Secrets", which aired on six March 2014, and in the opening scenes of the starting time episode of season 4, "Ane-Two-Three Get", which aired eleven June 2014. "Beloved Me Again" is also a playable song in Only Trip the light fantastic toe 2015. The song was besides used as the theme to the tv set show Whiskey Condescending which debuted in February 2019 and ended in May after one season.[9] In August 2020 and May 2021 it was used in Television set and radio adverts for National Rail.
The French channel TF6 too used this song to shutdown its channel.
