Judicial Internship Guidelines
The Dallas Hispanic Law Foundation invites those law students who are in the process of completing their beginning or 2d year classes to apply for the DHLF Judicial Internship Programme. Judges from Dallas area civil and criminal courts will be participating. Applicants must have completed first-year law school courses from an accredited law school, including civil procedure, legal research, and legal writing courses. All students in Accredited Police force Schools (including the UNT Dallas College of Police) are eligible to utilise. The Foundation grants stipends to the students chosen to participate in the plan. The Myrna D. Schlegel/Aware Scholarship was originally established in 1999 to honour Myrna Schlegel, a registered nurse. During her tenure of developing and managing 2,500 nursing and retirement beds, she recognized the overwhelming need for trained professionals in the field of gerontology. In 2016, Myrna, in partnership with AWARE (Alzheimer'south Women'south Association for Resources and Instruction), transferred the Myrna D.
